Summer: Go Makeup Free!!!

In the summertime makeup can really be a hassle. When all you wanna do is relax and enjoy the sun, the last thing that you want to worry about is makeup! If you are constantly at the swimming at the pool, or wakeboarding at the lake like I am, it can be a pain to worry about whether your mascara is smearing or your foundation is coming off. In addition, wearing alot of makeup will clog your pores and cause acne. This effect is multiplied in the summertime because sweat will already be clogging your pores. Going without makeup for a while is a great way to refresh your face, and your confidence! When you do start wearing makeup again, you will feel super pretty! :D

Remington Wet 2 Straight

I recently bought a Wet 2 Straight straightening iron by Remington. I am really pleased with this product. It made my hair very silky, smooth, and straight. I must admit, I didn't really like this iron at first, because it was kind of hard to work with on very wet hair (straight out of the shower). But, then I let my hair air dry for about 10 minutes and tried it again. Once my hair had dried a little, it was so much easier to straighten! It dried super fast, and it took me about the same time that it does to straighten my hair with a normal straightening iron but it completely elliminated the blow drying step! The plates are infused with tourmaline, so it made my hair really, really silky! I love the way that this product works. The straightener also has a setting for dry hair. That was my favorite setting, because it took hardly any time at all. It heated up really fast, and only took me about one and a half minutes to do all my hair.

Vera Bradley Bags

I am in love with anything and everything Vera Bradley! I have so many of their bags! I have a makeup bag in Blue Rhapsody, a pencil case in Raspberry Fizz, a lunch bag in Mediterranean Blue, a tech case in Buttercup, a zip ID case in Mediterranean Blue and another in Blue Rhapsody, a wallet in Mediterranean Blue, and a tote bag in Blue Rhapsody. I love them all! I really want one of their duffle bags for when I travel because they are so bright and colorful and happy! My favorite pattern right now is Bali Gold (but it changes all the time). Their bags are a little pricey, so I like to get mine on ebay (NWT).

Summer Nails: Essie

Essie Nail Polish is really in right now. People are calling Essie's braziliant collection  the colors of the summer! And after checking it out for myself I can see why. The colors are so summery! And the names of the shades are so creative. The Braziliant collection includes braziliant,too too hot, super bossa nova, meet me at sunset, smooth sailing, and absolutely shore. My personal favorite is absolutely shore, a pale pastel light green (almost a minty color). With these cool new polishes you're sure to rock the beach!

Heated Eyelash Curler

If you try to curl your hair when your curler is off it doesn't work. So shouldn't the same logic apply when curling your eyelashes? When your eyelash curler isn't hot it won't curl as well. So, they've invented a heated eyelash curler! It works just like a curling iron, just for your eyelashes. It will curl your eyelashes a lot better and make the curl stay alot longer. Beachy Blond Hair

Every blond out there wants to have beautiful highlighted blonder hair that looks like you just got back from the beach. But when the beach isn't exactly in reach, I turn to other methods. I have never died or highlighted my hair because I have natural highlights and i want to keep them for as long as possible. But I still wish for that gently lighter sun-kissed blonde color. The other day I discovered John Frieda's Go Blonder Shampoo and Conditioner. They will gradually give you a blonder color. It makes your hair look truely sun-kissed without bleaching or dying it. It just deposits a little color. I really, really like it! Also they have a lightening spray that you spritz on your hair right after you get out of the shower. The heat from your blow dryer and straightener work with the spray to lighten your hair. The more heat you use, the blonder you get. So for all you blondes out there wanting to be just a little blonder, I highly recommend these products!
